The program is open to all Verona residents in grades K through 8, with the regular season running from March to early June. The month of March primarily consists of practices, with games beginning in early April. Tournament play is also offered for all 3-8 grade teams. We welcome players of all abilities and experience to become a part of the fastest growing sport in the country!

Mini Laxers: K to 2nd Grade ($75) OR ($100 *includes new stick – see registration website for details) **Mini laxer program does not include winter indoor bubble sessions**
For children in grades K, 1, and 2, a "mini-laxer" clinic format is available. The clinic is held on Saturday afternoons for 1 hour from roughly April 4th through June 6th.
Grades 3 and 4: ($175)
Both girls and boys teams that typically play 8 to 10 modified games against teams from nearby towns, and practice about twice a week. We strive for equal playing time at the 3/4 grade level. Our goal is to schedule games to challenge players at all levels throughout the season.
Grades 5, 6, 7, and 8:
Will play on competitive teams (gender specific) and typically participate in 10 to 12 games against teams from nearby towns; practices are usually 2 or 3 times a week. Based on registration numbers, grades 5, 6, 7 and 8 will be placed into teams based on ability, experience and commitment. Select/Challenge games may be scheduled for grades 5-8. All teams will have similar game schedules with the focus on scheduling games against appropriate competition-level opponents as our teams.

The Verona youth lacrosse program is run by a volunteer board, and is coached for the most part by volunteers. Check-out www.veronalacrosse.org for more information. Volunteers are needed and are welcome to assist in coaching and general organizational duties. No previous lacrosse experience is required.
